Fashion Lab Holiday Camp '08

Fashion Lab Holiday Camp is Hoboken's only weekend activity program for kids & teens ages 9 & up teaching basic fashion & acessory design, crafting & sewing. Join us in December to create holiday pressents every Sunday leading up to Christmas.

Students focus on learning basic sewing, crafting & jewelry making skills, in addition to basic fashion & accessory design techniques used in creating some of todays cutting edge fashion designs.

Each Two hour class is project oriented and each student leaves each class with their finished wearable craft & fashion projects. Holiday Camp Starts on December 7th, 2008

Schedule

Sunday December 7th, 12-2pm MYO Purse (2 Lab Credits)
Sunday December 14th 12-2pm MYO Hat & Scarf Set (2 Lab Credits)
Sunday December 21st 12-2pm MYO Necklace & Earring Set (2 Lab Credits)

Please note: Projects are subject to change from week to week, based on class size and how fast kids complete their projects.

3 Weekly Sessions = 6 Lab Credits

Fashion Lab After School & Fashion Lab Holiday Lab Credits Work like this:

Each Fashion Lab Afterschool Class is one hour long and uses one Fashion Lab Credit.
Each Fashion Lab Holiday Camp Class is Two Hours long & uses two Fashion Lab Credits.
To attend either program, you must purchase at least 6 sessions that need to be used in the year 2008.

Megan Avery, Instructor & Owner of M Avery Designs, started her handbag company in 2001. After creating and selling her handmade handbags for over 3 years, she began teaching her secrets to the public in the form of Handbag workshops to adults and kids. Today her studio is host to regular after school fashion accessory design classes at both the Hudson School and Hoboken Charter School, as well as weekly fashion accessory classes open to the public. In addition, Megan hosts numerous crafty bridal shower, birthday & girls night out celebrations at her inspiring studio.
